Sooo I promised myself I’m going to make more effort with updating my blog in general AND my outfit posts it’s just so hard to find the time with two little monkeys.
My youngest has cut his first two teeth, and I think he has his first bout of seperation anxiety which has resulted in him fussing at every nap and then last night, the worse nights sleep EVER! I don’t remember ever having a night that bad with his brother, but you do blank it out so maybe I am just forgetting.
So anyway, it’s autumn. My favourite season. So yesterday I dressed for autumn but was met with early winter and froze. So from now on I’m taking layers out for me and my boys and will be choosing comfort over fashion..
We had a family day at the museum yesterday and this is what I wore…
I’m still living in high waisted jeans, but the 6 months of terrible eating has finally krept up on me and I need to do something now! For once I didn’t need to worry about a feeding friendly outfit as my monkey has started taking a bottle of expressed milk 🙌🏼, saying that I COULD feed in this top with no trouble
Happy Monday people
So this weekend we have faced a new dilemma.. what to wear during a heatwave that is breastfeeding friendly and minimises two sweaty bodies making each other even more sweaty 😂😂.
I will save you all from witnessing what I’ve been wearing this past weekend, so here is an outfit from earlier on in the week, before the heatwave kicked in.
A light cotton t-shirt from Zara, with some New look jeggings, with some comfy sandals from Asos 😍.
All of the summer clothes sales have started but I am trying my very best to avoid looking online as it really is time I did something about my baby weight! From tomorrow I am actually starting a healthy eating plan! Wish me luck..
So this week we had yet another wedding meaning another ‘formal’ feeding friendly outfit to find. As I didn’t have time to get to the shops, I had massss of online deliveries arrive all week, and finally caught a moment when both babies were napping to try it ALL on and settled for this lovely outfit..
Both the top and skirt are from Asos and both items are currently half price.. I’ve added the links below..
Embellished white top
I felt great and the outfit was perfect for feeding in which was ideal as my little monkey wouldn’t drink the expressed milk I had taken for him!
In the search for some new breastfeeding friendly clothes, I stumbled upon the website Shein. Stylish, on trend clothes and very reasonably priced.
I’m still waiting for the haul of things to arrive (the two downsides I’ve found so far is, your items come sporadically and take a very long time to arrive). But so far I am loving this T shirt.
I wore it with high waisted jeans and a vest underneath so I could feed by pulling the tshirt over and the vest down. Oh and my Adidas sandals. And I felt great wearing it 🙂
So this week we attended a wedding and I had the dilemma of what to wear that I could also easily breastfeed in (and hide my mum tum in 😂).
I found this lovely wrap dress from River Island.. as it was wrapped at the front it was easy to feed in without having to take the dres off! Perfect!
Apologies for the poor images, these were taken at the very end of the night after running around with a screaming baby for pretty much the entire wedding!
