Countdown is on..

It’s been over a year since I last got on a plane and woke up somewhere beautiful (I literally sleep the entire plane journey). Before my little monkey arrived, I liked to travel. A lot.. Like A LOT a lot. For me, not going away for over a year, is a really big deal.

So, as you can imagine I have really itchy feet, and after months of planning and day dreaming, our first family holiday is nearly here. When I say nearly I mean less than three months away…

It’s going to be completely different traveling with a one year old, and I have so many worries. Will he last the long haul flight, will the food/water make him Ill, how will he cope with the time difference and will we actually get any time to relax?!

For now, I’m just going to put these to the back of my mind and continue to be excited.. If anyone has any tips on travelling with little ones then please shout!

Three months to go..

Not really any tips. We only went on car rides when our kiddos were that young and our portable DVD players are what kept us sane. Actually, my kiddos are now 7 and 5 and have never been on a plane yet!

It may be the first and last time we get on a plane with him 😂😂.. Car journeys are a nightmare for us, he hates the car seat. Maybe we will try a DVD player 👍👍

  2. Once you make that first trip, you’ll be hooked!! We fly a ton with our now 4 year old (her first flight was at 7 weeks). She’s caught the travel bug and this year, we have 5 international destinations planned. Traveling with kids might be harder, but it’s so worth it!

  3. If I can give you one piece of advice, start blogging as soon as you get back from your destination! I started our blog this year and my child is 4. I cannot for the life of me recall all the details of so many trips we’ve taken early on in her first few years, so those are missing from my blog. Don’t be me!!
