36 weeks Bumpdate…

I’ve made it to 36 weeks and finally feel like I’m on the home straight. I’ve been off work for a week and a half now and things are progressing with the house move. I am constantly being told that two of the most stressful things you will ever do in your life are having a baby, and moving house. I’m planning on doing both in the next four weeks.. Call me crazy!

The house is coming along nicely and we’re hoping to be moved in 3 weeks. Bumpy is due in 4 weeks, so the race is well and truly on. Keeping my fingers crossed that bumpy will hold out until we move!

Bumpy due: 29 days

Position: head down 🙂

Total weight gain: 31 pounds

Antenatal care: Finally have a bed/ hospital in my new town and had my whooping cough vaccination today. Iron levels are still low so need to see the obstetrician once my care has been transferred over to my new hospital.

Sleep: Now that I am off work I am sleeping much better although still waking up for the loo. And the heartburn is back at night!

Exercise: I started aquanatal classes last week and would highly recommend it. I found the water to be a light relief and am seriously considering a water birth now. It was also great to meet other mums especially as I’ve just moved here. I’ll be going back every week and may even continue post labour.

Belly button: Still in! Creeping out though.

Wedding rings: Just about still wearing them.

Hospital bag: As of today this is now packed and ready! I will post my essentials in my next post.

Baby Names: Still undecided! Wish I had a favourite for each gender.

Baby Nursery: Still not ready, should be ready in 3 weeks (eeek).

Looking forward to the next four weeks but also feeling abit anxious about the unknown and just wish I knew when bumpy was coming!
